Diesel Generator Operation Regulations
1) Generator should be placed in a smooth and safe place, and have good ventilation conditions (ambient temperature are less than 40), to facilitate cooling genset.
2) It is strictly prohibited to put in the sun and rain outdoors, and avoid water droplets, metal fragments or other debris invasion.
3) Generator set will ensure good grounding.The power output cable should have enough cross-sectional area, good contact, and the correct connection.
4) When the genset is used for power generation, the load shall be balanced by three-phase electricity, and not allow to overload operation. The power is strictly used according to the rated power.
5) The motor shall be regularly checked for brush wear (except for brush-less), and lubrication conditions in the bearing chamber as well as parts associated with the engine flywheel.
6) For the first time accumulated 50 hours of running,you should change the oil, and then every 200 hours of running should change oil and diesel, oil filter. It is recommended to use CF-4 diesel oil.
7) If the genset does not be use for long time,you should remove the battery connection line, and every month charge the battery into full, to ensure sufficient electricity to start the engine.
8) In diesel generator set, because diesel engine adopts pressure seals, and the kind of seal can play a full role when the engine has about 1/3 load, and if in low load may appear slight leakage. Therefore, the low load / no load time should be reduced as far as possible, and requirement the minimum load should not be less than 30% of the rated power of the genset.
