How to choose a right diesel generator
Now in the market there are many different kinds diesel generator, they have much different in price. This cause a hard problem for customer to choose a right generator.
Here we introduce some tips help you do choose:
1) Please understand the related between KVA and KW. If the generator is three phase output, 1KVA=0.8KW. But if generator is single phase type, 1KVA=1KW.
2) Please clearly the differents between prime power and standby power. Prime power generator support continuous running, but the standy power generator just support short time working.
3) Please know for a diesel generator, its engine power need big than genset power. For example, if the generator output power is 300kw, it accordance diesel engine at least need 330KW.
4) Please compare controller, know it function. Maybe controllers look same, but their function have many differents.
In a whole, when you purchase generator, you had better choose a specialized supplier. And in my opinion, price is not the most important, the quality and service are more important.
